Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

How about an ice cold glass of milk or a cup of coffee with some homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars on a Sunday afternoon. Sounds good doesn't it?
Baking this recipe in a pan is definitely faster than making them into cookies. Just mix the batter and spread it into a jelly roll pan, then bake. Soon you will have mouth watering squares of heaven.
If you are using teflon coated pans, then you will want to use a non-metal knife or spatula for cutting the squares. One technique we like to use when making cookie bars is to line the pan with foil (shiny side up), leaving enough wrapped around the edges to act as handles so you can remove the whole thing out of the pan. This way you can cut them into squares without scratching the pan. Don't forget to grease the foil before putting the batter in.
